Danish and Indonesian Ministers conclude that Indonesian regions can save both energy and money in the future

Danish-Indonesian energy cooperation ascertains how the provinces of North Sulawesi, Gorontalo, South Kalimantan and Riau can save up to 11.5 million tons CO2 by 2030. That is 75% of the annual CO2 emissions from the Danish transport sector in 2018.

The Vietnam Energy Outlook Report 2019 was presented in Hanoi today. Produced in collaboration between the Danish Energy Agency and the Vietnamese energy authority Electricity and Renewable Energy Authority, it demonstrates how Vietnam can accelerate the country's green transition and achieve emissions savings that exceed decades of Danish emission reductions.

Two recent analyses show that both solar, wind and biomass are competitive technologies on the island Lombok, in Indonesia. Furthermore it is shown that integrating 60% renewable energy into Lombok’s power grid, by 2030, is a cost-efficient initiative.
