The Danish energy Agency issues a new publication on its international energy cooperation

The Danish Energy Agency (DEA) publishes the publication ‘Danish Energy Partnership programme’ on Denmarks global energy cooperation. The new publication mediates the tool kit that Denmark makes use of in partner countries as well at it shows the potentials and results from existing agreements.

A delegation led by the Chinese Deputy Director General for Renewable Energy, Liang Zhipeng, has payed the Danish offshore industry a visit since Monday. The delegation comprises representatives from the Ministry, the Chinese State Grid and other key players in offshore wind in China.

Denmark assists China in building a high quality offshore wind industry

The Danish Energy Agency is assisting Chinese developers and the Chinese government in their efforts to create a viable offshore wind industry, transferring Denmark’s more than 30-year experience from offshore wind developments. The Quality Offshore project which has China’s National Energy Administration as its main partner last week held a successful workshop in Beijing.

The Danish Energy Agency is assisting Indonesian power plants optimize their environmental performance and become more flexible as Indonesia substitutes coal with renewable energy. Indonesia currently has 6% renewable energy in the primary energy mix, but has a policy target to increase this to 23% by year 2025.

The Danish Energy Agency will conduct tenders of price premiums for electricity from wind and solar PV in 2018-2019. The total budget of the tenders is DKK 1.015 billion. The Danish Energy Agency invites comments and questions on the draft conditions for the tender in 2018.

In April 2017, the Danish Energy Agency has launched Balmorel Lite, a web based energy model useful to assess the value of renewable energy into different electricity systems. Today the Danish-Ukrainian cooperation on energy presented an investment website for renewable energy and energy efficiency projects in Ukraine. This occurred on a high-level event arranged by the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine with participation from e.g. the Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister and the Danish ambassador Ruben Madsen.
